Midtown Dental is a general dental practice with a dedicated focus on sedation and surgical dentistry. All of our dentists have completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency (GPR) and provide restorative, endodontic, surgical and implant treatment under IV, oral and nitrous oxide sedation.
We complete the treatment you referred, send you a report, and return your patient to your office for everything else.

HOW A REFERRAL WORKS
1. You send the referral
Submit the referral through the form below. Send radiographs, the treatment plan and medical history through Brightsquid Secure-Mail or CDA Secure Send. We do not repeat the new patient exam.
2. We consult and treat
We perform a consultation, imaging if necessary (in-office CBCT), and medical and dental screening to confirm your patient is suitable for sedation. Then we complete only the treatment you asked for.
3. They come back to you
You receive a treatment report and any new radiographs. Hygiene, recall and restorative care stay with your office.

Who treats your patient
Your patient will be treated by Dr. Vikas Khanna, Dr. Aaron Liu or Dr. Jeremy Brandelli. All are general practitioners who have completed a hospital-based General Practice Residency (GPR). They provide surgical dentistry alongside restorative and endodontic care, so treatment can be completed together in a single sedation appointment.
Our dentists are GPR trained and sedation certified through the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta (CDSA). Dr. Khanna completed his residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, Dr. Liu at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg (University of Manitoba), and Dr. Brandelli at the University of Alberta Hospital.
